Location:  MuseumReports to:  Museum & Heritage Coordinator
Casual – Required on a casual basis as staffing requirements dictate.
Hourly Wage:  $21.59/hour with benefits as per the Employment Standards Act.
Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Museum & Heritage Coordinator, the successful applicant will be responsible for opening and closing the Museum, conducting admission and services sales, providing visitor support, and assisting with special projects (ex. Collections care, content editing, research requests).
 
Position Requirements:
 
  • High school diploma.
  • Experience within museums/archive like services is an asset.
  • Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale system (POS).
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Excellent communication, planning and organizing skills.
  • The successful applicant will be required to obtain and submit a clean criminal record check, prior to start date at candidate’s expense.
