Location: Dryden Pool & Fitness Centre	Reports to: Manager of Recreation
Casual Relief: Scheduled shifts and relief as required. Shifts may occur weekdays, weekends and/or evenings.	Union – IBEW Local 1730
Hourly Wage: $27.27 per hour with benefits as per the Employment Standards Act.
Job Summary: Reporting to the Manager of Recreation, provides quality customer service to the Dryden Pool and Fitness Centre patrons and public; handles cash; receives admission fees for the Pool and the Fitness Centre; answers phones; books facilities; accepts registrations and payments for programs; processes memberships; demonstrates good computer knowledge; monitors use of facility; maintains clean facility; acts as back-up to the Lifeguards in an emergency situation.
Position Requirements: High School Diploma or working towards obtaining Current First Aid CPR Level C certificate (or ability to obtain within three months) Mature, responsible person with ability to work alone without direct guidance Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and oral One year previous experience in customer service, cash handling, and Microsoft applications Ability to assist with emergencies in the water as back-up for the lifeguards The successful applicant will be required to obtain and submit a clean criminal record check, at their own expense, prior to start date.
